Hi Everyone
If you do not know yet, I am stopping SU! and opening up my own Scrapbook store: The Inked Stamper June 4 in St. Albert. I will carry a wide range of supplies for scrapbooking and card making by all the popular designers. I will also be carrying Handmade products from local designers, such as purses, necklaces, hair clips as well as custom cut vinyl and pre cut wall vinyl. Scrapping With Cancer Fundraising Crop

I'm very proud to announce this Crop; I held a fundraiser crop for the amazing charity Scrapping with Cancer 2.5 years ago, and I can't wait to do it again! This year the crop will be held at my house in my Studio. The price of the Crop is $60 and includes a Kit Valued at $35 which will include:

-Botanical Gazzetted DSP

-Smooch Pearlized paint

-Basic Pearls (pack of sticky back half pearls)

-3Ft of Marina Mist Satin Ribbon

-Plus supplies and instruction to complete a Double page Layout; including photo mats, pearls and other embellishments. The picture is a Sneak Peek of the layout.

The price also includes a $20 donation to purchase supplies for Scrapping with Cancer; also included is your snacks, drinks and a lunch. I will have room for 16 ladies to crop comfortable. If you are signing up with a large group, please let me know if you would like to make this a week end crop for an extra fee.

Registration and payment is required by Feb 16. If you can NOT attend but would still like the kit and to donate you still can, it will be only $50 as you will not be there, I took the $10 off that I've allotted for food.

I will be accepting donations for the month of Feb right up to the crop date to purchase supplies for Scrapping With Cancer; a donation as little as $5.50 will purchase 2 Glue Sticks, so every little counts!

NOTE: I have to charge a fee for Paypal as they charge me a fee; you may also register for a class by contacting me and dropping off or mailing a cheque if you prefer with NO FEE on it! But I can not take Credit Cards for ANY classes so if you wish to pay with a credit card, Paypal is your best bet. If my links do not work, please let me know!

These will take place the last Monday of every month starting January 31, 2011! Every class will be different and I'll try to follow a theme. The first class we will be doing "Girlie Cards". You make 6 cards, 3 designs x 2,( pictured above). Class will include 6 Cards, 6 envelopes, 1 Martini, and a full package of Rhinestone Jewels ($6.50) that you will use in the class and will have lots extra to take home all for only $20! There are a few options available with this class: If you only need to make one 12x12 tile, you may choose to make it with only ONE color of Decor Elements Candy Cane Christmas pictured above, for only $27; you will have left over elements to make other Christmas Projects with! If you are making more than one tile, I would pick 2 colors like mine pictured above, that way both children will have the mittens which look great across the top of the tile. For 2 Sheets and 2 tiles $47.00. If you have a heat tool, this is an easy project to do at home! Let me know if you need a ``To Go kit`` and I`ll cut up the Rudolf for you and you and your child can make it at home!

Classes

Craft Camp: Wednesday, July 21, 10-1pm. Need a break from your kids this summer? Why not book them into my Craft Camp for 3 hours. Gives you a chance to escape and shop and go sit in a coffee shop! For $30/child, your child will make a cute magnet board to put up in their locker at school, and decorate the front cover of an Art journal. Price also includes 3 hours of away from YOU time ;) plus lunch. Booking required by July 5! Child must be 8+yr, and must be capable and enjoy crafting!

Mom &Me class: Wednesday August 11; 10am - Noon. Looking for something to do with your kids during summer vacation; why not craft with them. Come to my house, and make a cute Photo clip Frame. I will lay out a bunch of different color selection and embellishments so you child's artistic talents can be the star! Of course I will have a few samples out as well to get their inspirational juices flowing. Class fee will be $20/child and booking required by July 12.

Calling all Scrapbook Junkies and Technique Junkies

My Monthly Groups will start up again this September and run for 10 months ending in June. 10 Ladies are required for each Group and we will meet up every 3rd Sunday at my Studio. Scrapbook Junkies will meet 11-1:30 and Technique Junkies will meet 1:30-3:30. You will receive a FREE Idea Book upon joining,$11.95 value, and at your monthly group you will make your projects for FREE as well. Scrapjunkies make 1- 12x12 Layout and 1 simple card: Technique Junkies focus on 1 new technique each month which will be used to make a gorgeous card with a matching technique page. All that is required is that you promise to purchase a minimum of $40*/month ; the hostess benefits will rotate between the 10 of you. So come out and celebrate being Canadian! Booking required by June 13 with payment. In this class you will make 4 GORGEOUS Memory blocks for you to keep or hand out as gifts. These Blocks have a very classy feel that just does not show up in the photo, They are made with Bride/Groom DSP which is foil highlighted and very beautiful and accented with red for a pop of color. The pictures really do it them no justice! This will be my 3rd class with these, 2 private ones were booked once they saw them in person, I assure you, YOU will be over the MOON with them! Class is Thursday April 27 1-4pm OR 6-9pm. Price is $51 and includes Glue Stick, Blocks, Embellishments and Paper, plus a sheet of Decor Elements Inspirations. Booking with payement due May 3.

Chilli Crop Night

Last Friday of the Month is Chilli Crop Night at The Inked Stamper's Studio. Come on over and scrap from 6-12pm for $10. Price includes, dinner, drinks, and use of my stamps, inks and Big Shot Dies. For those of you who have not heard, I've signed up to do the 30km walk for the Weekend to End Women's Cancers. As part of this team, I will be responsible to raise $1250 which will all go towards Cancer Research! I'm going to do this is a variety of way, but mainly through my SU! business. My first Fundraiser event is this Wednesday at my friend Holly's House, she has graciously offered up her house and friends for an Open House Fundraiser Gallery! All orders placed that night, I will donate 10% off the profits to the walk. If you would like to help out, all orders you place with ME directly by Wednesday will go towards this great cause. This gorgeous frame is actually from SU!, it is in our new Decor Brochure. It looks much better in person, the picture does it no justice, you can't see that is actually 1 1/2" thick. It looks so pretty in person. I am putting this class on that I designed as a NO FEE Class, this is the actual cost for all the supplies only. I have designed them so there will be left over decor elements for you to place on the wall around your piece of art. Later on if you need a change, all you need to do is flip over your center 4x4 insert and place a picture in it rather then the decor tile.

Ribbon of Hope Card Class March 27 10am-Noon $45 at my Stampin' Studio

Come on over to my studio to make 5 gorgeous cards with envelopes, complete with their own storage case. You will even get to keep your Ribbon of Hope Stamp. Keep the cards for yourself to hand out, or they will make a wonderful present as they come in their own little purse box. This class also includes a $20 tax deductible Donation to the Weekend to End Women's Cancers Walk. Please bring your own adhesive I'll post pictures later, I'm waiting for my stamp to come in.

Night Lights

Hi Everyone
These are some cute night light blocks I made last Christmas for my awesome friends Alana. Actually we made them together. I've had a few people ask me about them so I thought I would post a picture of them. I love to use Decor Elements on projects as my house is not finished yet, so I don't have too many one] my walls, but I have a ton on projects. Any how: these were made with blocks that I bought from Home Depot & got my husband to drill a hole in the bottom for me which I stuffed white Christmas lights up. We cut the letters with Serif Essential Bigz Dies and the Big shot with Chocolate Chip vinyl sheets: the flower stems were cut with the vinyl as well but we used the Baskets and Blooms Bigz XL die. The butterflies and flowers are from Flitting By I. We finished them off by starching and ironing the ribbon so it stays up pretty and stiff, and we used the Silver Cord from the Holiday Mini and tied on some pearls and bead from the Pretties Kit.

Welcome to My Newest Blog

Hi Everyone
This is going to be where I post my monthly newsletters. Instead of the one that used to come to your In box once a month, I will send you an email with a link to my Newsletter blog when I update it monthly. One of the reasons I am doing it this way is because the service I was using before costs $16 US/month, and this one is FREE! Which is fantastic! With the money that I will be saving from doing this, plus my commision that I make from being a SU! demo, I have decided to sponsor a Child through World Vision. I hope to sponsor more in the future, but for now we are sponsoring one little girl named Asresie from Ethiopia. I will post pictures once I get them.

Also, another reason why I would rather pass my newsletter on this way is the pictures will be able to be larger so you will be able to clearly see class projects.
